This track stemmed from a beat I made in 2010 that I started and had great intentions for, but never got around to finishing. That was, until this year I started going through my back catalog and got immediately inspired by this. I wrote a verse which was recorded the same day it was rediscovered.

After the verse was recorded, a friend of mine (Jordan Trasko) came through and laid the main guitar you hear in the song. This inspired me to lay down the synth strings from an old Casio keyboard I have. I spent a few weeks listening just that, trying to find a hook but decided to leave it out in the end.

A few weeks later I had another friend (Connor Oyster) randomly bring his upright bass and record the low strings you hear in the intro. He also brought one is his bandmates (Blake Ford) who laid down another layer of guitars. It took a fews days to mix, but came out to be a very interesting track. All together, not too bad of a track if you ask me.
